Tabbed Editing and Managing for Microsoft Office

Word-Tabs

Tabs are easy way to navigate to multiple documents or pages without having to open multiple instances of the same application. Tabbed browsing is very much popular among all web browsers. With Office Tab, you can bring tabbed editing and managing of Microsoft Office documents. The tabbed interface is available for Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Office Tab improves the ability of Microsoft Office and bring the tabbed user interface to Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and Office 2010 (32-bit).

The advantage of having tabs is that you can open multiple documents from one instance and quickly switch between them. Office Tab gives you the ability to open, read, edit and manage multiple Office documents in a tabbed window. Whenever you have modified a document, it add an ‘*’ symbol against the tab.

You can customize the way tabs behave for Word, Excel and PowerPoint using the settings menu which are available for all the three apps. You can also set the position where the tabs needs to be displayed along with shortcuts for hiding and displaying the tabs.

You can also select the style and colors for the tabs. There are more than 10 themes to choose from based on your liking.

Office Tab supports plenty of built in as well as user-defined shortcuts to handle the tabs. You can put the tab bar on the top, bottom, right or left side of the workspace. You can also hide the tab bar when there is only one tab. The tab length can be set to automatic, self-adaptive or fixed based on the number of tabs available.

Office Tab is supported on Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and 2010 32-bit (include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
