IrfanView is a very fast, small, compact and innovative FREEWARE (for non-commercial use) graphic viewer for Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003 , 2008, Vista, Windows 7. It is designed to be simple for beginners and powerful for professionals.

IrfanView seeks to create unique, new and interesting features, unlike some other graphic viewers, whose whole "creativity" is based on feature cloning, stealing of ideas and whole dialogs from ACDSee and/or IrfanView! (for example: XnView has been stealing/cloning features and whole dialogs from IrfanView, for 10+ years).

  1. One of the things I love about IrfanView is that it has so many features for a freeware program. But I do notice a lot of people who visit the IrfanView product page at Software.com have questions about it. Sometimes it's actually hard to keep up with them all, but that probably comes with the territory of a popular software download.
