Google will allow users to decide what happens to their data after they die or become inactive online, the first major company to deal with the sensitive issue.
Google is now offering users the opportunity to plan what happens to their Google Account data after they die or can no longer use their account. The company on Thursday introduced the Inactive Account Manager, a tool for distributing Google user data to friends and for deleting it.
