IE10 is the next generation Internet Explorer version and Microsoft had released the first platform preview back in April 2011. Today we have the second platform preview and is available for download. IE10 Platform Preview 2 has the same HTML5 engine seen in the recent public “Windows 8” demos. With this update, IE10 continues to deliver support for site-ready HTML5 technologies as well as improving performance.
The new platform preview contains support for “CSS3 Positioned Floats, HTML5 Drag-drop, File Reader API, Media Query, Listeners and initial support for HTML5 Forms. IE10 will not work on Windows Vista, you will need Windows 7 and up.
Similar to the first version of platform preview, the second one also does not feature an UI. More details on the changes in the new version available here.
