Long time back we had covered an online file scanner called Filterbit, the company has now re-launched their online file scanner as Metascan. The new scanner allows you to scan files with 19 popular anti virus scanners online. Some of the AVs include avast, AVG, BitDefender, ESET, McAfee and many more. The maximum file size allowed is 40MB per file. Once the file scan is complete, the service provides you with a detailed report.
The scan report contains report from all the AV engines separately along with the AV definition date. The application also shows you the MD5 details of the file along with any threats detected.
Metascan is a pretty useful service if you want to quickly scan your files with multiple online scanners.
